        2.  James Erman¹¹ Bridgwater (Jefferson Seaton¹⁰ Bridgewater, James Ewers⁹ Bridgwater, William⁸ Bridgewater, Jonathan F.⁷ Bridgwater, Jr., Jonathan⁶, Nathaniel⁵, Samuel⁴, Thomas³, John², Bridgwater¹) a physician and surgeon, was born October 05, 1883 in Caldwell, Sumner Co., Kansas, and died April 28, 1937 in Albany, Linn Co., Oregon.  He married (1) Mayme Wellington June 03, 1913 in Multnomah Co., Oregon.  She was born July 11, 1884 in Illinois , and died June 05, 1970 in San Diego, San Diego Co., California.  He married (2) Ennid Alphena Prichard June 16, 1928 in Brownsville , Linn Co., Oregon.  She was born August 17, 1907 in Independence , Polk Co., Oregon, and died September 09, 1990 in Portland , Multnomah Co., Oregon.

He was not particularly close to his family and devoted his life primarily to medicine and the illness and dispair of others. After his three months of special general surgery at Columbia University in New York in 1919, he only returned home twice to visit his siter, mother, and brothers.
